Project Overview

The Centre Hospitalier Provincial de Berkane is a new provincial hospital project serving the Oriental region of Morocco. Located in the city of Berkane near the Algerian border, this facility is part of Morocco's national programme to extend quality healthcare infrastructure to provincial and regional centres.

The CHP Berkane is designed to deliver a full range of general hospital services including emergency care, surgical theatres, medical imaging, maternity, and specialist consultation units. Its construction follows modern hospital planning principles, with patient flow, infection control, and operational efficiency guiding the spatial organisation.

BIM was implemented from early design stages to coordinate across all technical disciplines, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Health technical requirements while enabling efficient clash detection, quantity surveying, and construction documentation.
